Mixmax is a great email productivity tool for Gmail. It doesn't know anything about your deals.
Reviewed by Raunaque S., Head of Marketing, Agent07 · August 6, 2026

Mixmax lives inside Gmail, tracks opens and clicks, enables scheduling, and powers basic sequences — for an individual rep who wants more from their inbox, it's a solid choice. The limitation shows up when you need those email signals connected to deal context: when the prospect opened your proposal three times, Mixmax tells you. It doesn't tell you what that means given the objection from last week's call, the email thread from Tuesday, or where the deal actually stands. Email productivity without deal intelligence is a faster way to do the same manual work.
Mixmax sequences send the same templated emails to everyone. They don't know what happened on the last call, what objection came up, or what the prospect already said. Follow-up automation without deal context is glorified mail merge.
Mixmax doesn't record or transcribe calls. Meeting intelligence, call summaries, and deal coaching require a separate tool — adding cost and fragmentation.
Mixmax tracks open rates and click data per email. It doesn't aggregate signals across deals, surface stalled conversations, or alert you when a deal is at risk based on engagement patterns.
Mixmax lives in Gmail and Gmail only. Calendar events, meeting activity, and call context are invisible. Half the deal signal is in meetings; Mixmax can't see it.
